The Elementary Level

The elementary level is divided into two sub-levels: Lower Elementary (Grades 1 till 3), and Upper Elementary (Grades 4 till 6). At Phoenix International School we have high expectations for all. We prepare children to become life-long learners through adopting the 21st century skills and use the most effective instructional technology to teach them: To be life-long learners, our students are provided with rich opportunities to enhance their problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills through individual and group work that promote teamwork and creativity. This is reflected in the curriculum that challenges students to think and perform at high levels of achievement.

Our teachers at this level are facilitators of learning, they guide their students to become independent learners ready for the middle school. This occurs through the introduction of real life situations that help students become reflective thinkers who are in charge of their own learning.
